Completed research

GCSAA-funded projects since 2007

Supported by The Environmental Institute for Golf, the goal of the GCSAA research program is to fund research that is important to superintendents. Because growing conditions and the problems faced by superintendents vary greatly across the country, the research projects cover a wide range of topics.

Below is the list of applied agronomic, environmental and regulatory research funded by GCSAA, which provides golf facilities and golf course superintendents with the latest information to produce high-quality playing conditions in a manner that is compatible with the environment.

The research listed represents projects that were completed since 2007 and have been published in Golf Course Management magazine. Completed projects will be added each year once they have been published.

If you have questions regarding a specific research project, please contact Mark Johnson, GCSAA associate director, environmental programs.
