The supporters of the Environmental Institute for Golf are passionate about fostering sustainability to the benefit of golf course management professionals, golf facilities and the game. Our supporters range from individuals to large corporations, but all have a dedication to raising the understanding and awareness of the concept of sustainability for the golf industry. As many our supporters have established decades-long relationships with the EIFG, it’s clear that their dedication is not a fad or trend.
We know we could not have achieved as much as we have without our supporters. Because of their generosity, we’ve been able to fund applied research to the tune of $1.7 million in the last 10 years alone. Whether gifts to the EIFG came through GCSAA members giving annual support when paying their association dues, or corporate gifts to fund focused endowments, they have combined to fund education for today’s golf course management professionals and offer more than $130,000 in scholarships in 2010 for tomorrow’s industry leaders.
The EIFG highlights supporters through key recognition programs, such as the Golden Tee Club, Platinum Tee Club and Cumulative Giving Program. Each individual, group and corporate sponsor continues to make a positive impact on ensuring the game of golf’s long-term viability, and the EIFG salutes their generous efforts with our continued thanks.
