Harborside International Golf Center was built on a Chicago landfill on the industrial south side. Today it is a world class facility the has righted some of the environmental wronged, enhanced the overall ecosystem, established a cornerstone for revitalizing an economically depressed area, developed a solution to utilize urban sewage sludge to remediate a brownfield site that contained no viable soils-growing medium.
