Environmental Stewardship on Historic Property
Author(s):  Rick Phelps; Dick Phelps, ASGCA
A case study of The Twelve Bridges Golf Club which was build on a 1870 ranch. The ranch owner had constructed an eight mile loop road which included 12 hand-hewn granite bridges crossing the sites's creeks and drainageways. This project is an outstanding example of environmental stewardship on historically sensitive land.
