Management Strategies for the Turfgrass System
Author(s):  Joseph M. Vargas, Ph.D.
Focus on the disease and insect problems that occur all season long and how management programs must be developed to include all potential problems. An IPM approach on how to manage the various diseases that occur throughout the season on each turfgrass species will be presented, as well as the latest information on the status of turfgrass stress management. Also, learn strategies for delaying the development of fungicide resistance and managing the turfgrass system, including greens, tees, fairways, roughs and green surrounds. The textbook, Management of Turfgrass Diseases is strongly recommended (not required) for this seminar.
