Advanced Weed Management
Author(s):  L. Bert McCarty, Ph.D.; Fred Yelverton, Ph.D.
Strongly based in IPM principles, this seminar will provide in-depth information on weed management and plant growth regulator use, including biology, ecology and lifecycles of major turfgrass weeds. You will also discuss herbicide families, the development of herbicide resistance by weeds, environmental considerations in herbicide use and tough-to-control turfgrass weeds - including annual bluegrass in putting greens, fairways and golf course roughs. The textbook, Color Atlas of Turfgrass Weeds is strongly recommended (not required) for this seminar.
