• GCSAA to fund seven new research projects

    Seven research projects at six universities will share $115,000 from GCSAA through a block grant from the EIFG. Seven research projects that began in 2016 will also continue to receive financial support.

  • Intelligro gives $5,000 donation to the EIFG

    Intelligro, a Suncor business and maker of Civitas Turf Defense, made a $5,000 gift to the EIFG during the Golf Industry Show. With the donation, Intelligro retains its place in the EIFG’s Platinum Tee Club for donors who contribute $5,000 or more annually. It is also recognized at the Executive Club level of the EIFG’s Cumulative Giving Program, recognizing donors who have contributed between $10,000 - $24,999 since 1987.

  • GCSAA introduces BMP Planning Guide and Template

    A comprehensive national planning guide and template for golf course best management practices is now available at www.gcsaa.org/bmp. The guide covers key areas of nutrient use, drought and water management, and integrated pest management. It is a big step toward GCSAA's initiative to have golf courses in all 50 states adopt science-based agronomic practices that support proactive environmental stewardship by 2020. The BMP program is funded and supported by the USGA through the EIFG.
