Through the use of technology, environmentally-friendly products, “green purchasing" practices, waste management, recycling, composting and other innovative practices golf courses are becoming sound environmental stewards. Through these techniques, superintendents are adopting new policies and practices to protect the environment and save money at golf facilities.
