The Environmental Science Division of Bayer CropScience has teamed up with the Environmental Institute for Golf to send five golf course superintendents to the 2018 Golf Industry Show. The purpose of the grant is to assist golf course superintendents with their professional development through participation in the annual event. Applications for 2018 are open through Nov. 28, 2017. 

Eligibility

Currently employed superintendents who have not attended the Golf Industry Show in the prior two years (San Diego 2016 or Orlando 2017) are eligible to apply. 

  • Airfare
  • Hotel accommodations for five nights
  • Conference full-pack registration
  • Two education seminars
  • $200 spending money

Special consideration for hurricane victims

For the 2018 GIS, Bayer is doubling its support and sending five additional superintendents – all from areas affected by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria, including Texas, Louisiana, Florida and Puerto Rico. For hurricane victims, the recent attendance rule will be waived.

Winners

The EIFG will notify winners by Dec. 5. Please note that if you have already registered for the Golf Industry Show at the time of the drawing, GCSAA will refund any charges that would be covered by this program.
